2017 World Journal Education Expo Flash Mental Math & Mathematics Competition
The 2017 World Journal Education Expo Flash Mental Math & Mathematics Competition was held at the World Journal Education Expo on Saturday, April 1, 2017. The event was co-sponsored by CAAA and World Journal (San Francisco).

Competition Time: 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, starting times will be different for different groups
Competition Format: Students between Grades 1 through 12 are eligible for this competition.
The competition will consist of a flash mental math qualifying round and a mathematics round. A final flash mental math round will be held to determine the winners of the flash math competitions.
For school grades 1 & 2, there is only one competition (flash math only) available.
For school grades 3 through 12, there are two competitions available: 1) flash math only competition, and 2) flash math & mathematics competition. Students in grades 3 through 12 can register for one or both competitions.
Competition rules are available in English and in Chinese.

If you are registered for the 2017 CAAA Assessment Test, please speak with your teacher if you would like to register for this competition. Please have your teacher contact CAAA if there are any questions regarding registration for this competition.
If you are not registered for the 2017 CAAA Assessment Test, registration will take place online through this form. Your registration will not be considered complete without payment to CAAA.
The registration deadline for all students is Friday, March 24, 2017. Registration will not be considered complete without payment of the registration fee, if applicable:
(a) $15 for the flash mental math only competition
(b) $15 for the flash mental math & mathematics competition
The registration fee is not applicable if the student is taking the 2017 CAAA Assessment Test.
